About Bang Luck Market
The switch from disposable bags to reusable ones only makes sense if the reusable ones genuinely survive being reused. That is the whole test.
A silicone bag that splits at the seam after ten washes has cost more than the box of disposables it replaced. So the range at Bang Luck Market is chosen around the closure and the seam rather than the colour: zip and slider seals that still hold liquid after repeated washing, gussets that let a bag stand up while it is being filled, and thicknesses that do not go brittle in a freezer.
The shelf covers gallon, half-gallon, sandwich and snack sizes in silicone and PEVA, heavy mylar sacks for dry bulk storage, compostable liners for the jobs where reusable does not make sense, and non-woven totes for carrying the shopping home. Most lines are multi-packs, because that is where the price per bag actually falls.
We are straight about which items are reusable and which are not. The plant-based liners are single use by design and are labelled that way; the silicone and PEVA sets are the ones meant to go through the dishwasher and come back.
The market is on 5170 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90027, United States, open Mon-Sun 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM, seven days a week.
